Launched in September 2026 during the London Design Festival, as part of Shoreditch Design Week, ANGAN is an ongoing journey through the many visual languages that make up India’s cultural landscape.

Each chapter begins with a place, a tradition and the people who carry its knowledge forward.

Together, we explore the stories and techniques held within these traditions, translating them into new works of art and design.

Named for the aangan, the shared courtyard at the heart of the Indian home, Angan is a space for coming together, where people, ideas, materials and ways of making meet.
