Note: Kaddu ke phool: Pumpkin flowers, our very own local edible flowers. In Orissa and Assam pumpkin flowers are predominantly batter fried into pakoras, In Maharashtra, they're made into a sabzi, while in Southern states they find their way into thorans with coconut and mustard seeds.
