#IndiaInspired: Kaddu Bowl
Since The Bombay Canteen is paying homage to this wonderful, very desi ingredient by celebrating the pumpkin in all its glory. Enthused by the movement “India-Inspired” started by the Bombay canteen team.
We give an ode to the effort TBC puts into highlighting seasonal produce in their menu, by meticulously hand painting each pumpkin and every little detail on our traditional tableware. Which is skillfully melted, molded and beaten by craftsmen to create inimitable utensils to give a story to every meal on your dining table
Note: Kaddu ke phool: Pumpkin flowers, our very own local edible flowers. In Orissa and Assam pumpkin flowers are predominantly batter fried into pakoras, In Maharashtra, they're made into a sabzi, while in Southern states they find their way into thorans with coconut and mustard seeds.
